The Salvation Army Wilkes-Barre Corps is proud to announce that Robert and Virginia Tambur are the recipients of the 2011 Community Service Award and Gus and Val Genetti the recipients of the “Others” Award. The awards will be presented at a dinner in their honor on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Genetti Hotel & Conference Center in Wilkes-Barre. 

The dinner event is a fundraiser for The Salvation Army and all proceeds will be used to support the Salvation Army’s Kirby Health Center Family House. Enclosed is a sponsorship form indicating the ways to honor Bob & Ginny and Gus & Val, while at the same time, maintaining this vital and much-needed program for our community; I am asking that you join me in supporting this worthwhile cause by becoming a Red Shield Sponsor, Food Station Sponsor, Table Sponsor, or placing an ad in our program book. Invitations to the dinner will be mailed at a later date.
